I watched "You, Me and Everyone We Know" today. Great movie. I really enjoyed it and how real and disgusting and beautiful it felt. A few parts TOTALLY made me laugh!
I also saw "Jesus Camp" last night. HOOooooolly crap. That movie was good, but the content was so disturbing. Those poor kids.
Lets see watched A MIGHTY HEART with Angelina Jolia - slow but the cast was excellent
THE REAPING - it was a remake of the 70's movies, you know devil worshipping town, sacrificing, one thats good - yadda yadda yadda - it was good but it was just a remake of an old concept
I've been renting DALLAS tv show from Netflix - as I remember watching it kind of when it was on - my parents watched it every week - it's fun to watch the 'old stuff'
My daughter went to watch part of WE OWN THE NIGHT - since she works in the theatre she was catching the ending - as she was standing in the back, (and she called me immediately after this happened) Jack Nicholson of all people was in the theatre watching the movie - walks up to her and tells her it was a good movie then sneaks out of the theatre before the lights go on - I'm thinking what is 'Jack' doing here in our little part of the world - well about 10 movies are being made in our little part of the world right now - Viggo is in town and if he's in the theatre my daughter is on strict instructions to call me so I can get my hiney down there!!!! LOLOL
tonight, I saw "Lord Of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" and I quite enjoyed it!! I am not a huge Lord OF The Rings fan, but I loved it!!
10/10
Today, Saw "Lord of The Rings: Two Towers!" Special effects and the CGI were excellent!!
10/10
Beetlejuice last night. It was the first time I've seen it. It was really random, but I love Tim Burton so it was still good.
30 Days of Night. The movie wasn't so great, and any movie that uses scare tactics such as things jumping out at you, etc. Well that's just cheating. Anyways, the makeup effects were actually really good.
I watched Monsters Inc and Star Wars Ep II: Attack of the Clones yesterday.
Hey we watched some of Monsters Inc too - cute as always!
From NetFlix tomorrow we are getting:
Knocked Up
Mr. Brooks - my daughters tell me it's really really good
Ruby in the Smoke - Phillip Pullman book movie made in England
Home of the Brave - love the military movies
I just finished watching, "Lord Of The Rings: The Return OF The King!" It was spectacular!!! It is soooooooooo exciting!!
10/10
