Material Girls. It was better than I thought but it was still mostly lame.

Yesterday I saw Bridge to Terabithia. It was very good. Different than I expected. You only see glimpses of Terabithia and Terabithians for most of the movie. You don't really see Terabithia and Terabithians until the very end of the movie and they look awesome. It is sad and poignant.

Babel. It was a pretty good movie (the way the stories intersected was nice) but it was kind of long and slow.

Yah, it was pretty lame. No way would Kate Winslet go for Jack Black and no way would Jude Law go for Cameron Diaz.

I wanted Kate Winslet to get with Jude Law... but they play brother and sister!

Re: the official "What movie did you just see?" thread!

I just watched OPEN SEASON, which was co-directed by Roger Allers (Lion King). It was actually quite entertaining! And I love that they really pushed the squash & stretch in the characters. And I had no idea that this movie was loosely based on Steve Moore's 'In the Bleachers' comic strip!

Visually, I think it's light years ahead of anything from Dreamworks, Fox, or Happy Feet.

The only thing that I probably would have done different is the voice of Martin Lawrence. His voice was just grating on the ears a bit.

but all in all, I really had fun with this one. I wasn't expecting to, but I did.

I watched Open Range last night, and it was a big snooze fest until the shooting started. I wanted to shoot Costner and Annette Bening for sucking so bad.

I love the scene where he comes into the apartment, whistles, and animals come out of every available space (and several unimaginable ones).

Makes me giggle. Plus they had a basset hound.

    For Your Consideration

It was okay, not Christopher Guest's best movie. But Catherine O'Hara was amazing in it.

    Casino Royale

What a great start to the next Bond star. I love how they pretty much started at the beginning of Bond. Can't wait for the next one.

Thursday night I saw "Evolution". It came out in 2001 with David Duchovny and Julianne Moore. It sucked. Badly. I always wanted to watch it because I heard some of the film was filmed at Cal State Fullerton. I think that was the best part of the movie. Thank God I never went into my temptations and bought this film and only rented it from Blockbuster online.

Finally watched Borat last night after owning the DVD for nearly three weeks. Hilarious film but, yeah that one scene that everyone talked about...just plain wrong.

I started to watch Prairie Home Companion Friday but I fell asleep so I'll try watching it again tomorrow and hopefully will be able to watch the whole thing awake.

I haven't actually been to the movie theatre since Dec 26. What we saw then was "The Holiday" with Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Cameron Diaz and Jack Black.......

Now, on Friday, I just watched "Singin' In The Rain" in my livingroom....

I rented The Holiday. Great movie, very well-written and well-made.

POTC Dead Man's Chest for only the second time. Getting ready for the new trailer and for May I just realized I should watch it more often..... Orlando Bloom.
