    The Black Donnellys

I normally watch Studio 60 at 10 on Mondays, but it wasn't on last night and the Black Donnelly's took its place instead so I decided to watch..

I looooove this show, it's another one of those dramatic, exciting, intense shows that have seem to be popping up in the past year. A little violent, but I'm a huge Sopranos fan and nothing can top that with violence haha so... Did anyone else watch?

I really loved it. That twist at the end? Beautiful! My jaw dropped.

The storytelling and narration was perfect--introduced a lot of characters in an interesting way. Love Joey Ice Cream.

For anyone who missed it, watch it online:

I'm pretty sure they're re-airing it this week on TV, too.

Oooh, I'm going to go watch it now!

    Re: The Black Donnellys

I don't hate you Tui LOL - I thought it was okay - the characters aren't developed yet nor is the story - so I can't say love or hate or just okay about the show. Awful violent for Prime Time but there is I guess more violent shows- I know they are counting on the females to latch onto the show - the brothers are cute in their own way. The show is a lot like Brotherhood on Showtime - but Brotherhood are real grown up boys (Jason Issacs - yummy!) Brotherhood I liked instantly - and this isn't the Sopranos where you can catch on no matter what.

I'm giving it a few more weeks and then we'll see......

It's my new favorite TV show. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. Best pilot I've seen in a decade.

    It was ok. Really confusing.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Aw man, yeah I see how it could be kind of confusing.. I forced myself to give it my undivided attention, because even before I saw the show I knew I'd love it.. thank god it lived up to my expectations, I hope the rest of the show lives up to the pilot

I too normally watch "Studio 60" on Monday nights and since they didn't air it (it might have been cancelled) I was going to change the channel to something else. But, I found myself watching the first few minutes of the new show and found myself drawn into the story line. Joey Ice Cream is a great story teller! I really think this show has alot of potential.

That's how I felt. I usually hate TV pilots!

I also loved Crash, Traffic, Ocean's Eleven (second two are not affiliated, just reminded me of it style-wise), the show feels like a movie. Good stuff.

Aw man, I realllllly hope Studio 60 isn't cancelled! I haven't heard anything about that being a possibility recently and I've been trying to pay attention because I knew that it was on the brink of cancellation earlier in the season..

I looooved this show. I"m surprised by how much I really ended up liking it. I think the brothers are fabulous! I was really surprised by where the story went and i'm very curious to see what happens next.
