    Our 4-wheeled children

    Hey all,
With a new car purchase just a few months away, it's time for me to start thinking of car names... yes, I'm one who lovingly bestows names on my vehicles.
I'm starting a thread for suggestions, as well as for anyone else out there who names their cars, to share with the rest of us what they're called.

The vehicle that we are getting is the GMC Acadia (except ours will be black)

and I'd love to hear some suggestions.
The current cars that my wife and I have are:
    VW Passat : Rogue
    Dodge Neon: Lil' Red

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

I only come up with names for my car when it starts to die...my last car was named bessie after it hit 10 years old and over 100k miles.

Ooooo.. I'm loving Indy for the Acadia. That is definitely tops of the list right now. Although Mork and Bob are interesting choices as well .... well, at least Mork made me laugh out loud!

I knew starting this thread was a good idea.

And TraceCub, if I do end up naming it Indy... I'll have to send you some sort of prize

    Keep them suggestions a comin'

The concept of naming a car is so foreign to me. We have "The Mustang" and "The Toyota". Does "The" count?
