Disneyland a pricey proposal for families
The cost of meals, hotels, airfare and park admission makes traveling to Disneyland and the California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., an expensive proposition.

But that doesn't appear to be stopping Utah families from visiting the happiest place on Earth on its 50th anniversary.

"We're getting quite a few calls," said Jamey Harvey of Salt Lake City's Cruise and Travel Masters. "There have been a lot of renovations at Disneyland and a lot of families haven't been to both parks."

According to Harvey, the cost of a two-night, three-day trip to Disneyland and the adjacent California Adventure Park for a family of four with children between the ages of 3 and 9 would be $881, not including airfare.

The package includes two nights at the Anaheim Fairfield Inn and a three-day Park Hopper pass good for California Adventure and Disneyland.
