    What movie would you like to see on broadway?

    What Disney movie would you like to see on Broadway? My friend and I would like to see the Hunchback of Notre Dame. As a matter of fact, we want to direct it and design it.

    I'd love to see Mulan on Broadway.
    She walks in beauty, like the night
    Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
    And all that's best of dark and bright
    Meet in her aspect and her eyes.....

    I think Mulan would be good if it weren't such a large scale movie. There are so many locations, and I can't really see the sets being very magnificent, and there are so many extras. How would all that work?

    I never thought they could do Beauty and the Beast or Lion King either... and look what masterpieces those are! It really is amazing what they can accomplish in theater now adays!

    Seriously... I'm not sure. But if they can make a Broadway production out of Titanic or can drop down a helicopter near refugees in Saigon in Miss Saigon, certainly Mulan may work.

    The beauty of the theatre... you don't need to have a ton of folks to get the idea there are "tons of folks".

    Personally, I see a lot of simple shadowed backgrounds with colored lights. Simple asian design. *shrug* Other than that... it's beyond me!

    good call. I saw Miss Saigon, that was cool. And I recently saw terracotta Warriors, so I suppose if I saw those again I could get a better idea of what Mulan could be like. I like to plan out theatre productions that dont exist.... *tee hee!*

    Plus the stampede scene in the Lion King is quite possibly one of the most amazing things I've ever seen accomplished on stage!

    I haven't seen the Lion King. Just beauty and the Beast. How'd they do that stampeede? I didn't even think of that.

    I will definitely not give it away for you! I will tell you that if you get to see it, no matter what the cost is, be sure to sit on the floor (as opposed to up in the balconies)... it really is an amazing show! I think my jaw was on the floor for at least the first 15 minutes.

    About 6 years ago I think there was a musical version of "The Hunchback of Nortre Dame." Not sure if it was Disney's version or not. I also think that there is a short musical verison (like the Snow White and Aladin shows) at the MGM Disney Studios.

    sweet. I just want to see a huge reproduction of the cathedral with a hunchback flying around and gypsies dancing and the jester in the middle of it all, belting " the bells of notre daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aam!" Oh, I just gave myself chills!
