    Gimme my DVDs!

I've been poking around Amazon lately, looking to blow some disposable income, and I tell ya, it's pretty frustrating when you go to buy a DVD and find out that it doesn't exist. I remember one of the first times I ran into this problem, I was looking for Kenneth Branaugh's Hamlet on DVD, with no luck. (A quick check reveals that it still hasn't been released. Hippies.) And just now, I was hoping to pick up We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story (one of those fun, crappy movies I watched ad infinitum when I was a kid), and it hasn't been released! Come on, guys, get with the program!

So what DVDs are you anxiously awaiting that never seem to materialize?

I didn't know RHMIT had not been released? I love that movie!

Actually it has been released separately. I'm pretty sure it would be on Amazon.com also, but I prefer to get all my dvds from DeepDiscount.com. They have great deals on dvds and there is free shipping on all orders.

Right now I can't think of any dvds I've anxiously been waiting for. Although I have been looking for The Pirates of Penzance movie on DVD for a while.

It was released to DVD almost 10 years ago (wow.. doesn't seem like DVD is that old!). It should be cheaply available still.

One movie I really want on DVD is Dreamchild. Henson did such great work on that film!

Also, I want The Dreamer of Oz. John Ritter was a perfect L. Frank Baum in that TV movie.

Disney still hasn't released Shipwrecked onto DVD. They had some great movies during the 90s but the DVD transfers are lousy. How about a Special 2-disk restored edition of the Rocketeer?

The Hercules TV show, too! Now that was awesome, right there.

Speaking of Hercules, is it ever going to get promoted out of Gold Collection purgatory? Its 10th anniversary is this summer...
