It could be happening. If Iger pulls this off I really hope people give him a chance.

The seemingly improved dialogue opens the door for a renewed distribution agreement between the two entities. Iger told a group of investors, "I'm not sure I really want to give you odds. We've had really good discussions. ... The fact that we are having a dialogue is a really good thing, and it has been really healthy," Iger said. "We'd certainly like to find a way to continue to do business with them, and I think the feeling is mutual."
I certainly think that Disney has more to lose than Pixar if they can't work this out.
