What do you think about the NEW Disney web site?
Meh, I suppose it's better... I just wish it had more interactivity at a lower bandwidth and the abilty to share content... Takes too long to load up... Loading up on a dial up line is impossable.

I think it's still real bad. I don't know what they are thinking.
Well, they added a lot of "Gee Wiz" factor but left out the helpful new content that would make it easier for people to plan their Disney vacations, buy Disney movies and collectibles, etc. It is a mixed bag.
However, I want to point out that the site is MUCH better looking than before. Kudos on that. Hopefully they'll focus on usability and user most requested features next.
It could have been worse, I like how they enhanced the site, but making it DSL friendly is evil, esp since its fiber friendly and not dial up friendly...
I like how it's streamlined better and enhanced overall.
It is better looking, but there is WAY too much information that comes up. There are thousands of ads for cds, tickets, contests, and other things that distract you. It could be very simple, but they blinged it up with way too much junk attatched to everything you click.
Who uses dial up anymore? It is more expensive to own dial up than dsl lol.
I think they should have 2 one for high bandwidth one for low.

yes, I'm aware it's beta, but it just sits there and processes and I can't get anything to work

The site looks better but is not as useful. The problem is the concept that with ONE site Disney can allow you to access their travel, merchandise, media and corporate information. Then they ALSO want to advertise at the same time! I find that it takes longer to get to the park information I enjoy. I just think that the "portal" concept is hard to pull off.

I agree with jiminycricketfan. the new website is nice. great that all info is accessible. HOWEVER, () the website takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long to load up
other than that, the 'site looks fine.
