Way to go Disney! It's a wonderful world of colorful love.

In the name happiness, this is an long overdue opportunity to all those straight, gay or bi who wish their bond to be officially recognized...the stuff fairy tales are really made of.

Commitment ceremony is such a lovely phrase. Not enough loyalty and commitment in this old world anymore. We need more of it...regardless of one's persuasion.

    I'm A Disney Believer

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me.
Love was out to get me
    Thats the way it seemed.
    Disappointment haunted all my dreams.

Then came Fairy - Tale weddings, now Im a believer
Not a trace of doubt, and life shines.
    I'm in love, I'm a believer!
A committed believer in this heart of mine.

I thought love was more or less a given thing,
Seems the more I gave the less I got.
    Whats the use in tryin?
    All you get is pain.
When I needed sunshine I got rain.

Then came Disney's open hearted mind, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt, and life shines.
    I'm in love, I'm a believer!
A committed believer in this heart of mine.

I'm a Disney believer, yeah yeah yeah yeah-eah-eah eah!

If the Institution of Marriage has survived "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire?!", and the antics the Gabor Sisters, Jennifer Lopez, and Brittney Spears, I think that it will survive two men / women making their relationship(s) legal; today's Generation doesn't see any problem with Gay Marriage, as they have grown up with "Will & Grace", Ellen Degeneres, and numerous "Out" celebrities - to say nothing of uncles, aunts, and other family members out of the closet; the Stigma is waning. Another generation, and this time will be looked at in the same way as we now look at that time when Blacks were not allowed to marry, and interacial marriage was illegal.

Too bad if I want to legally marry though I have to stay here in Massachusetts.
You could have an inexpensive civil ceremony in Massachusetts and get the license signed, and then have a big wedding here. My husband and I had two ceremonies because we were different religions. One was small and that's when the license was signed. Then we had a big wedding which had a religious ceremony only.
