    April 10, 2007

TMZ.com is reporting that Walt Disney's Passport is to be auctioned off on EBay. It is expected to go for somewhere between $14,000 and $21,600.

I want to thank Coheteboy for bringing the story to our attention.

I live 2 miles away from Disneyland if Walt would've built it at Riverside and Buena Vista.

I'd buy it, if only to blow the mind of an immigration official when coming back from Mexico nowadays. Who knows though, everyone's so freakin' serious/paranoid and without a sense of humor these days that they probably would put you in jail or something if you tried to flash this to an immigration official.

I find it amusing that Walter E. Disney needed a passport in the first place. I mean, was there anyone in the world who didn't know who he was. I guess it's all good though, since he had to get one now we have something to cherish and get one small step closer to knowing him.

They used to call tickets for Disneyland "passports". I was naively thinking that this is what was for sale.

Disney sure does use a lot of interesting terms: guest, cast member, show, on-stage, passport, and the most overused word "magic". I fail to see how 5 carts at any given angle inside Disneyland constitutes a show, but I'm sure the MBA geniuses in TDA know exactly what they are doing.
