    Walt Disney World Cleaning Green?

The Center for Health, Environment and Justice started a campaign Friday morning to persuade The Walt Disney Company to use environmentally safe cleaning products in their theme parks, restaurants and resorts.

This was official launch of CHEJ and Florida groups of the national Disney Go Green Campagin during the kick off of 2007 Florida Environmental Health and Organizing Conference, where many activists statewide come together.

CHEJ have sent several requests to meet with Disney leaderership to discuss green cleaning materials, but haven't received an appointment. Florida legislators are currently debating a green cleaning bill in their House and Senate, while New York State school and state buildings have already made this switch. Other hotels such as Kimpton Hotel Group, Fairmont Hotels and a few of Disney's hotels are already using green cleaners.

Snow White's Seven Dwarfs joined in this campagin as members acted out different dwarfs to show their concerns.
