Trip Report - Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens 4/17

Here's a little trip report from our day in "the garden" at Huntington Library in San Marino on Tuesday - April 17. Mostly just a day to 'get out' and take the babies.

So, my wife Christin and I along with our son Grant and our good friends Joe & Jeannie along with their daughter Katie embarked on a day in the garden.

Hope you enjoy my 'mini' trip report.

    Katie & my Son Grant

Katie & Grant - my son seems to have a thing for eating little girls dresses!

Up close and personal with my son Grant

    Grant & his 'Disneyland' Daddy

We believe this is a statue of Athena

Rose Garden - not sure whom the statue represents...but beautiful photo

    The Princess Diana Rose

The Japanese Garden - which, for me, makes the whole trip worth while. I love this area.

Not sure what Grant was looking at, but he seemed to be enjoying it.

    The Pinky

    The Blue Boy

Thanks for looking at my 'mini trip report'.
    Have a good day!

It's only a small trip report - never posted a trip report before, but I thought more might have commented on it.
    Oh well.

Regardless - get yourself over to Huntington Library in San Marino....

We laugh about that - since they are only 3 weeks apart in age.
Jeannie, the other babies Mommy used to tell my wife that it was her wish that she and my wife be pregnant together. Well, Jeannie miscarried in Sept 2005 - and then announced in late January 2006 that she was pregnant. Then my wife found out in late February 2006 that SHE was pregnant! What timing!

Must've been a cold winter - all these couples warmin' up to each other

We've been quite close to this couple for year. We were in each other weddings, etc. So, yeah. If the kids got married, it would be great.......and would be quite harmonious since the in-laws get along so well already! It would be funny, indeed.!

I guess they were sort of modern day Pinky and Blue Boy - HA HA
    Thanks for viewing.
This is the very first trip report I have ever made, so it's not terribly informative...just wanted to test it out and see how it would go.

Not too many people have commented on it but that's ok.

Great pictures! Glad you enjoyed the day. I have a picture of that Athena statue, too! I think that' s the one with the dogs, right?
