NEW YORK -- It may not be American Idol
but Land O’Frost luncheon meats has partnered with Walt Disney Records to give wannabe crooners a chance to sing onstage with a Disneymania 5 pop group.
The joint promotion, dubbed “Sing with a Disneymania 5 Star!,” starts today through July and will be touted on eight million packages of Land O’Frost Premium deli pouch lunch meats, the third bestselling lunch meat brand in the U.S.
Packages feature the likeness of Disneymania 5 recording artists and contain game pieces for free Disneymania 5 CD’s. A grand prize trip will send four people to Disney World in Orlando or Disneyland in Los Angeles to sing with one of several Disneymania 5 pop groups like The Cheetah Girls, T-Squad or Miley Cyrus. Disneymania titles have included artists like Hilary Duff, Usher and Jessica Simpson.
Support includes a full-page print ad, developed in-house, in Family Circle
magazine, an FSI on May 6 and POS displays.
