The musical Mermaids,
based on the 1990 MGM/UA film and the Patty Dann novel, will make its American premiere in California in May.
Produced in association with MGM Onstage, the show will play the Pechanga Entertainment Center May 10-13 (in Temecula, CA) as well as the California Theatre of the Performing Arts May 17-20 (in San Bernardino, CA).
