May he RIP. I really enjoyed his work.
I was very sad to hear about this. I heard it on KNX 1070 AM radio today. Suzanne Pleshette, his widow, has my prayers.
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
He was a good friend of one of my cousins. Sorry to hear that he's gone.
He was Awsome... The Quiet Funny man who could make me laugh just by standing there.....RIP Tom.

how sad, he was a very talented man
he was so much fun to watch. he had the bumbling friend role down pat. he will be missed.
Bless his heart. He and Suzanne Pleshette had such a beautiful love story.
Wow... I had no idea he was married to Suzanne Plashette....
I loved him in Newhart! I thought he was great!
I really liked him. My favorite role of his was on the short lived show Committed where he played a retired clown that lived in a walk-in closet.
Funny, funny guy.

He was a good actor. My sympathies to his wife and family.
He did so many things over the years. He had roles on so many shows, and was a regular on the great classic game shows of the past.
His role on Bob Newhart's second show has been well chronicled.
He also appeared on Murphy Brown a few times as the old curmudgeonly man who lived next door! As with everything else, he was classic there too.
He had a long and great career, and apparently a great life as well.
