JK Rowling Book Reading and Signing!

Ok, this is the coolest thing!

    Full article here

About 1,700 lucky fans in Britain and Ireland will win a chance to have Rowling sign a copy of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." The event will take place at the Natural History Museum on July 21, the day the book is released.

The first 500 randomly selected winners will also be invited to attend the midnight reading. Timed tickets will be issued for the subsequent book signing, which is expected to last until dawn. All the winners will receive a free copy of the book.

Seven U.S. residents can enter to win round-trip tickets to London and hotel accommodations to participate in the reading.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

She was asked that question, and as you know by now she has a reason for doing everything. The book would not quite have been ready by that date anyway. But the reason she chose 07/21/07 is that is ten years to the day that book one was released.

not to mention, think of us poor fans. we'd have to tear ourselves away from the book to go see the movie only a few days later. it wouldn't happen. it's gonna be crazy already!

She was done with the book though right? What was the date she was in that hotel and tagged up that bust of someone? I know the book was done before we all thought but with editing and printing and all that, it takes longer.
