I still have a Disney record with the 70's MMC version of the Mickey Mouse Club theme song on it. I loved that show!

The teaser that they have for this is soooo good! Plus they show Tony Lucca! I used to have the biggest crush on him! It looks like they are just focusing on the 90s version of the show.

Of coruse. Other than Xtina, they're the two most famous acts. And it's the most recent version. AND this is E! - not exactly highly literary TV station...
As a 90s MMC fan, a lot of the older MMCers who stayed on are interviewed it seems and that makes me happy!!

Yeah, I was about to say the samething in here. I saw the commercial for it yesterday and thought they are only going to focus the 90's version also as it seems.

I would love them to do all three/four. But I would think that would need more then a hour to do that. Unless only a few seconds highlights.

Maybe A&E Biography will do one and do it like they did with Sesame Street.

    Re: THS:Mickey Mouse Club!

Ok I watched it. I was honestly disappointed they didn't talk more about the 50's & 70's versions. I wasn't a fan of the 90's version (I was finishing high school & graduated in 1992), so that version never really appealed to me.

I still have a Disney record with the 70's MMC version of the Mickey Mouse Club theme song on it. I loved that show!
I had the official album of the 70's version of the show. I remember the disco-ey version of the Mickey Mouse March and the Mouseketeers version of Three Dog Night's "Joy to the World".

    Spoiler
I have a confession to make. That I only saw the last 10-5 mins of it and I said 'SHOOT!'. I kept thinking it was on 8pm for me. I did see the post saying 5pm in this thread before too. But I kept thinking that was for PT'rs. Good thing they will play again much more tomorrow, I'll be able to catch then. Mad at myself right now though.

If they wanted to have a Justin and Brittney THS why didn't they have it? Why disguise it as a Mickey Mouse Club THS?

    ^^ I know, right?

I wanted to know what happened to Todd from the 70's version (I had a mad cruch on him). We all know Lisa Welchel went on to play Blair on Facts of Life. Interesting about all the stuff poor Pop went through though. Poor guy really felt like someone was out to get him.

Todd has a regular 9 to 5 job now and plays in a band called Loud Neighbor and the band even has a website. They play alot in Hermosa Beach CA. I loved the 70's version and went to the Disneyland shows all the time back in 77 and 78. Glad Julie gave an interview and she was my first crush . Julie has a fansite called www.juliepiekarski.com. Also go to www.newmickeymouseclub.com for more 70's club pictures and links. Todds band website is www.loudneighbor.com

I was really miffed by this one. My other half tried to DVR it until I flipped it on and saw the Justin and Brittney show, and then I stopped the DVR and erased it.

If they want to do a MMC THS, why didn't they really focus on the old MMC? NOT the 90's one!
