Ok guys- it's Harry Potter countdown time

only 15 days- 2 weeks and one lousy day to wait......

I am so psyched, I can barely stand it.

The question is, when I finally hold my copy in my hands, can I control the urge to skip ahead and see
    Spoiler
    who she kills off
    in this one.

15 days? Anyone got plans for the big moment?

Plans for the big moment of the release of a Harry Potter book? I, for one will be reading Stephen King, pretending that the Dark Tower series isn't really over...

    Yes, Nephy, me too.

I'll be going to the store just after midnight, I think.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I'm looking at going either to the Borders at the BLock, or Compass Books (IF they're having a midnight release).

Man, what a full weekend! I'm basically going to be rushing from Wicked at the Pantages to a bookstore midnight line party, have one day to dive into HBP, and that night I wanna be at DL at closing (because, heh, the park closes at midnight on Saturday, therefore allowing us to celebrate the birthday!), then somehow manage to get up really early in the morning to get in line for the 17th.

Where was I? Oh yeah, Harry Potter, yeah, looking forward to it.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

LOL. Sorry to hear that. To be perfectly honest, I haven't read the books, so they may be fantastic for all I know. I've just never had a desire to read them. i saw about 30 minutes of one of the movies, and that didn't make me want to read them. I have nothing against either the books or the movies, just not my cup of tea, I suppose.

I'll go sulk in the corner now...

awwwww.....it's just that we usually agree- Farscape? Hello! Wait, since you are a Scaper you rank fairly super high on my cool-o-meter anyway!

    So don't fret it!

I saw the first movie before I read the books- now I have read them all 2 or three times each.

Besides that- One Little Spark is one of my favorite songs- I love Figment and I sing that verse often....

*sigh* ok, need to meet someone like you who lives near me LOL

Yay Potter-philes (and Reaver, who's cool anyway)! I pre-ordered mine from Borders (back in January, how sad is that?) so it will be waiting for me when I wake up on Saturday. I'm going to try to stretch out the reading time of it so that it will be keeping me company while I mope about not being able to go to Disneyland on its birthday. I figure it's the best posible comfort I could have!

If you don't mind me asking, where is the Borders located? We'll be at DLR during that time also and it would be great to give the kids a book to read during the longgggggg waits and for lounging around the pool once we get tired of the DL crowds. We're Potter fans also - Book 5 made me cry.

I pre-ordered it in TWO places, Waldenbooks AND B&N.

Too bad I'll be in San Diego! I can't pick them up!
Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!

Trish: The closest one is probably at the Block. Big outdoor mall at the Orange Crush where every freeway in Orange County meets. It's on The City Drive. From the Resort, I'd take Katella west to State College south. It eventually turns into The City Drive. You can't miss all the signs for the Block.

Fairly super high? I'm obviously not doing enough! How do I reach really super high? Does the fact that I was porn 1 day after you count?

And totally off-topic, but just a few weeks now until Ben totally takes over the SG1 set! I'm stoked!

Thank you, thank you Panda - I printed those directions. I'll call and see if I can pre-order.
