I have got to get some more of their stuff, they are one of those bands, that at least for me, I really did not like the first time I heard them but slowly I have started to like them more and more until I am really starting love them. That was the story of me and Boingo and now I am a Boingonut !

Oh yeah, Kraftwerk is still in my CD player, this time tour da France thier latest album. It is still growing on me but it still has that classic Kraftwerk sound.

OK, my husband NEEDS to get over here and talk about Kraftwerk. He's a KW nut from way back and saw them live in the 80's (but we missed them at Chochella). I have a theory that KW is responsible for all Rap music.

Polyphonic Spree just makes me want to run around naked in a field. Thankfully, there are no fields near here, so everyone is safe.

However, there are a few pieces that I find just as irritating as they come. There's a piece on "The Beginning Stages...." that ends the album and is 36:30 minutes of "experiment". Now, I am a Cage/Eno fan. I can deal with experimantal music, but I find this piece to be very irritating. Maybe it's the lack of drugs in my system. But, otherwise, I really like them.

Okay, I have a confession to make. I'm a Queen Fanatic - not just a fan, but a real Queen - actually, more of a Freddie Mercury - lover. So I always, always, always listen to anything Queen - anything and everything Freddie.

But I also listen to Matchbox Twenty, Green Day, Collective Soul, Danny Elfman, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tonic and Train - mainly, anyways.

    How's that for a list?

Right now I'm listening to the "Swing Street" stream on my Sirius radio. Like MickeyMania I got tired of the endless commercials and DJ's who love the sound of their own voice so much thats all you hear. That and where I live we have all of 3 radio stations. Music is one of my biggest passions. I listen to just about anything depending on my mood of the moment. I like alternative rock, classical, new age, world, jazz, country, bluegrass, trance, house, electronic, classic rock.... just about anything but rap and hip hop. I especially like Alan Parsons, and have just about everything he has done in one form or another.

You have good taste, I grew up on queen and pretty much have all of their albums, music videos, concerts, books and documentorys! Although I don't listen to them as much as I used to they will always be the band that really got me into music! I am more of a Brian May fan myself, I even had one of the reproduction red speical guitars but I had to sell it a few years ago. I got into Queen right after Freddie died (I was only 11 at the time) so it has always been hard knowing that the band is more or less dead since there is no Queen without Freddie. But I do like the fact that they came out with some Made in Heven so in a way he is still making music. I am mostly into their really early stuff now some Smile, 1984 (although Freddie was not a member of these band the sound is still very Queen like) and Oueen I and and Queen II. My favorite song Under Pressure has stayed pretty much my favorite since I was a kid. I think it is the combo of Freddie and one of my other favorite singers David Bowie that make this my favorite song. Its a pretty cool video too!

Over the years I guess I have gotten into a little more punk stuff, mostly the early stuff and Joy Division/NewOrder.
