So, this is Classic Disney Channel request thread #305, isn't it?
Classic Disney Channel would show all the classic Disney movies and possibly some old t.v. shows.
An "adult" Disney Channel, as mentioned by the OP, would show programming of an "adult" nature that's new. At least that's how I understood the OP's post. I guess that's open to debate.
Kitty Litter?
...Anyway.
I think it would be interesting to see Disney take on an "adult" themed channel. Don't know that it would ever actually happen, but the thought of it is quite intriguing.
No, I'm thinking of something more along the lines of Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, etc... I'd like to see an EPCOT Channel that brings together a lot of the themes from the park. We'd get education in an entertaining way, travelogues to various locales across the world, food, etc.... all done with a disney flair. I'd also like to see a show about the parks but that would never fly because for it to be interesting it would have to be a panel of disney enthusiasts that were at times negative towards the parks as well as positive. So, this is Classic Disney Channel request thread #305, isn't it?
A Disney documentary channel would actually be pretty nice. A great home for the True Life Adventures and other nature documentaries the company made, as well as the various classic science documentaries, plus newer documentaries of all kinds that can be shown. You know, kc, that's an angle that just might work!
EPCOT Channel... hmm... not a bad name, either.... Sort of Discovery Channel meets Travel Channel meets Food Channel meets Animal Planet.... this is getting interesting.....
EPCOT Channel is a good idea if EPCOT was still a good park. Now it would feature specials such as "Looking at projections of fake cartoon fish in place of real fish" (Living Seas with Nemo and Friends) and "Watching a car drive around just like it does on an oridinary problem free day" (Test Track).
EPCOT Channel, just like the park, still has potential to be great.
I would love to see something like that. There is so much Disney could do with a channel geared towards an older audience. It would be nice to see some of the old classic Disney shows, they could also use the channel to promote their many vacation experiences to those who actually have the power to spend the money.

I'd just like something besides tween sitcoms.
My kids go crazy over the treasure's DVDs. Put up a 'classic' disney channel. Play the shorts... play the movies... play the 'behind the scenes' clips... and you're set! Oh wait.. that's the Disney channel of the 80s!
