Music Choice, the Horsham, Pennsylvania-based digital music provider heard on cable systems as DirecTV, Comcast and TimeWarner, has announced as of September 18th that they will drop Radio Disney and replace it with an in house Kidz Only channel. The decision was based on surveys and the marketplace.

Won't hurt me any. Can't stand Radio Disney. Then again, I'm not exactly in their target demo,;) which is basically "soccer moms" and their kids.
I think I'm more shocked that "kidz" is still considered "cool" to attract children.
It the same channel that Radio Disney replaced. I hope our local cable provider can sign an agreement and add Radio disney back to the music channels
That one was actually a pre-school aimed channel. This one will be more directed at both the preschoolers and tweens.
I used to listen to radio disney, but when it became filled with Hannah Montana and High School Musical songs every five minutes, I stopped listening. I miss the old days when Disney Channel was real Disney shows and not an "Every Star Must Sing!" type channel, and when Radio Disney was another Pop Channel where I could listen to my favorite songs in peace.

The format of Radio Disney changed which...I like the preschool programming. I don't exactly like Hannah Montana, but I like the messages her songs hit. HSM 1 & 2 there's a very very good message behind it. And it's some of the only kids music that I am not ripping my hair out swearing at because... I'm sorry I can't stand 90% of kids music (and I teach preschool.).
