Disney.com drew 23 million unique visitors to the website in August, an all-time traffic record according to Nielsen/NetRatings data, The Walt Disney Co. announced.
The number of visitors was a 24 percent increase over August 2006 and a 12 percent increase over July 2007.
Disney revamped the Disney.com website in February to make it more interactive for visitors.
The traffic milestones are evidence the site is delivering on the goal of providing an immersive entertainment destination for kids and families, said Paul Yanover, executive vice president of the Walt Disney Internet Group and head of Disney Online.
