    Disney Channel Auditions

I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge. When I started out, I didn't have much information and spent countless weeks, months and even years learning the ropes by trial and error. I know how valuable information and resources are to people who are starting out from scratch. So I recently decided to use some of my spare time to create a blog with Disney Channel casting notices, audition information, information on getting an agent, demo-reels, resumes, etc. There are far too many scam artists out there who take advantage of those actors who are trying to make their dreams come true. The information and casting notices I provide are totally free and legitimate. Hopefully I can save some people a few bucks and a lot of footwork.

    Sincerely,

    Alan Baltes

Looking at all the casting calls, the programming is all for the 8-16 demographic. Disney desperately needs to create a channel for the 18 and older viewers. Make it what it was before it caught the tween virus. Quality has gone out the door. It's getting almost as bad as the direct-to-DVD sequels. The channel is circling the drain. I don't think it can last much longer. Sad, so very sad.

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

    Question kind sir.

Do we have to have acting experience to audition for a show? For example,

For Hannah montana, I'd like to walk by in the backround or sit down and act like i'm talking to some one. Any information on how I can be a part of that? Thanks.

No you do not need experience, but it sure does help your odds of getting called in.
