Another vote from me for Army of Darkness, I'm glad to see Lost Boys on there too, still to this day if I'm eating chinese take-out I run the fork through a couple extra times to make sure there's no worms or maggots in the container.![]()
Lost Boys was a fantastic movie as well (It's my personal favorite vampire movie, not to mention a fantastic soundtrack. I loved Echo and the Bunnymen's version of People are Strange.)
Another funny personal story.. I was an extra in this movie too. One of my friends and I were bodyboarding at the beach next to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk while they were setting up the shot for the railroad bridge scene. We were wondering what they were doing, so we hung around and managed (thanks to the extra casting agency I go through in San Francisco) to get into the merry go round scene (seen at the beginning of the movie).

Two movies/films I didn't see mentioned: The Frighteners (Michael J. Fox) and an old Brian DePalma film called Dressed To Kill. The latter is probably the only movie that ever gave me bad dreams. The former is just a fun movie.
I just saw Saw (no pun intended), and it was a lot better than I expected it to be. I liked Silent Hill too...and the first movie, can't come up with the title at the moment, but the tag line was "Have you checked the children?" I didn't see it on the list, but then again it was a pretty long list...The original was way scarier than the remake...
And I didn't see The Shining (Kubrick's version) on the list either. I thought that was a pretty good one.

The line 'Have You Checked The Children' is from 'When A Stranger Calls'.
So how was Silent Hill? Was it anything like the video game?

horror movies bore me...i wish i liked them
OLM!!!There is no better park than TDS
I realize I'm dating myself, but there's an old Vincent Price movie called "Scream and Scream Again" that has always stuck in my mind for a certain set of sequences. Anyone else ever see it?
I love the original silent Phantom of the Opera...and Alien still is the movie that made me jump the most when I first saw it. In the funny category, I'd go with Dawn of the Dead.
American Psycho is excellent, except I don't know if you would consider that a true horror movie. It fits in either suspense or satire. Excellent performance by Christian Bale, he added the right comedic touch to it.
Patrick Bateman while comparing the color of business cards; "It's Bone!"
