Sounds like fun- beats my first (and only to date) cruise, when I had the honor of being "that kid that threw up on the captain" for the entire voyage- and it had nothing to do with motion sickness.

I love, love, love looking at pics and reports from the Disney Cruise... Reminds me of my wonderful trip aboard the Wonder a couple of years ago. Thanks for sharing this trip report Nancy.

One note... I was surprised to find out they still have the "golden Mickeys"show playing on the ship. I thought it was retired from the Cruise after it opened in HKDL... Guess not.

Thanks for the great report. I'm also looking forward to a "cruise" later this week and this really got me even more ready for it.

My friend and I took the same cruise you did, a couple of years ago. We got off to a rough start as Hurricane Jeanne was paying a visit. We ended up losing a full day of the cruise. Bummer! This past April though, we took the 7 night cruise and it was fantastic! We can't wait to go again!

I love that mural too! Everytime I saw it I would get all teary eyed. They had tons of personal photos of Disney everywhere, including my favorite, the one where he is young and leaning on a door frame with the shadow of Mickey next to him.

Thanks everybody for your kind words, I'm glad you all liked my report. I had fun writing it. I felt like I was able to contribute something to MiceChat that maybe not everyone has experienced. I can't really add anything to DL since some people here on MC go there on a daily basis and the guest writers here do such a great job reporting on WDW that I don't know what else to say. But, I did go to WDW after the cruise and have a few pictures and words to share soon. Hope you all take a look at Part 2 of my TR.

Yeah, I react that way to authority figures myself sometimes.

Looks like this cast member forgot the required Mary Jane shoes or they must have gotten short on the shoes.

These are some fun pictures, what a great family.
