    Smile Bee Movie

I saw the making of this movie on HBO and it looks really good. I am not particularly a Jerry Seinfeld fan but some of the clips made me laugh. It's out in theaters this Friday, Nov. 2

Anyone else interested in checking this movie out?

I wasn't interested in the movie either, until I saw him talking about it on Oprah. We will definitely go see it since it seems like a pretty good family movie.

    I saw it last weekend.

Chris Rock's character was really funny!

(of course I also worked on it so I'm biased)

    Re: Bee Movie

Saw the movie this morning. (11-3) The movie had
a few laughs here and there. The set up for the movie
was a lot better than I expected, but the last quarter
of the movie needed a bit of help. I would rate it 5 out of 10.
There were definitely a few jokes that only the adults will "get".

There was one major jab at Disney ~ and this jab I didn't mind
at all. Seems the Bees have something against bears stealing
honey ~ which provided an opportunity to "stick it" to Pooh
and Piglet ~ that got a laugh out of me!

    Re: Bee Movie

I took my kids to see it Sunday. They liked it but I thought it was just ok. I'm not a big Seinfeld fan and his voice started to get on my nerves after awhile. There were no big jokes to make me laugh out loud, except for the lawyer joke at the end at that was delivered by a mosquito, not even Seinfeld's character. But like I said, the kids liked it which I guess is all that matters. Oh, and the message of why we need bees was a good one. It opened up discussion with the kids about our environment.

I haven't seen it yet, looking forward to it. It's funny, so many people on this thread are starting this with, "not a huge Jerry Seinfeld fan..." You'd have to wonder how he had the highest rated show on television for so long...lol

    Re: Bee Movie

I find Seinfeld boring. Never did care for the TV show. From what I have seen, he isn't much better at voice work. No character inflection in the voice that I could here, and quite frankly we have much better insect films, so this one is a no interest for me.

    Re: Bee Movie

Obviously there are plenty of Seinfeld fans around, to give it
such high box office numbers over the weekend. I really enjoyed
    his show.

And yes, there were several moments in the movie that you
could recognize Jerry's sense of humor. And there were about
four or five moments where I did laugh. But the end of the
    movie where

    Spoiler

all the plants and trees die almost instantaniously from lack
of pollination!?!?!??!?!?! And all the pollen goes missing. And
then somehow, the bee's are able pollinate every single type
of tree, bush, and flower with just pollen from just a Rose Bowl
Parade Float?!?!?!?!?!?!?! And SUDDENLY everything is green
    again?!?!?!?!?

That is all just pure convoluted Crapolla!
