Great choice of Tim, he seems very suited for the world of Alice.

I'm sorry for being ignorant, and apologize if this is a stupid question, but is this going to be the original cartoon Alice in 3-D format? Or is this going to be a Nightmare Before Christmas clay animation format?

    Help me understand.

    I think it was 3-D.

How awesome! When I saw the thread title the first thing to come to mind was, "Perfect! Alice in Wonderland just screams for Tim Burton!"

I'm super excited. This'll be great.

Tim Burton was made to make this movie! Walt Disney himself was disappointed that his Alice wasn't as close to the book as he'd originally intended. Not that it wasn't amazing but I think Burton has the vision to do it right. I don't care what size Helena is she can be the Queen of Hearts any day!!
