Didn't Speilberg want to make HP set in America? So glad that didn't happen. Also Marty was mentioned when they first started to make the movies...Everyone was pissed that Chris Colombus was the director of the first two. I don't know... I love the first two. They had those scenes where if you were an 11 year old boy it made you go "awesome..." in awe. I don't think Speilberg or some bigger names could do that because they're like "hey this is a kids book... let me put my stamp." Compared to the other directors that may have not have had the big name experience or mainstream cred and suddenly their names are on the lips of housewives in (insert random Middle America spot)... The directors they chose have let the work stand for itself rather than putting their name and it being "Steven Speilberg's Harry Potter and _________." Does that make sense? Like now we know who Alfonso Cuaron is and think "wow he has a cool vision..."
I like the idea of 2 movies because I want the radio scenes included. I was flat out in tears over those scenes. And I want Tonks to have move stuff!
