Contest to determine fastest Disney riders


Disney enthusiasts will take on the challenge of maximizing their time at theme parks in a competitive way Saturday.

It’s the second year of the Gumball Rally, an unofficial contest in which teams try to hit as many rides as possible in both theme parks in a day.

Last year, contestants only went to Disneyland, and some teams actually made all rides. This year, both parks will be included for the 200 competitors.

“It seems almost impossible that they could do all the attractions in one day,” said organizer Dusty Sage, a blogger on the MiceChat Web site that is putting together the event.
