ORLANDO, Fla. -- A 10-year-old boy visiting Orlando, Fla., was seriously injured in a crash likely caused by aggressive driving by a worker leaving Walt Disney World Monday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Witnesses told police they noticed a car driving carelessly on Interstate 4 near state Road 536 before it sideswiped a sport utility vehicle carrying a boy and his family. The SUV rolled several times.
"According to Florida Highway Patrol, they said this man was just getting off work from Disney World and numerous witnesses reported seeing this man driving aggressively, weaving in and out of traffic -- even cutting people off," Local 6 News reporter Jessica Sanchez said.
The boy and his family were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center. The boy is in serious but guarded condition and his family is being treated for minor injuries.
