Composer Ed Shearmur has recently recorded his score to the new Walt Disney Pictures comedy College Road Trip at the Sony Scoring Stage in Culver City. Directed by Roger Kumble (Cruel Intentions, Just Friends), the film stars Martin Lawrence and Raven-Symoné as a father and daughter who experience a crazy road trip as they travel the country in search of the perfect college.

Seems he's been working his way to it, with the Disney PG-13 hit 'Wild Hogs' and the PG 'Open Season' from Sony Animation.

I was surprised to see that Roger Krumble directed Cruel Intentions. I really liked that movie and this movie seems like such a different genre. I am excited to see what he brings to this film and how it plays out. He made me more anxious to check out College Road Trip this friday!

Ok I saw another trailer over the weekend and saw Donny Osmond is in it. Looks like this movie has a redeeming factor after all. I want to see it just to see him! LOL!

Well, it somehow managed to earn $168 million domestically and was one of the top 20 grossing films of the year so... it kinda was a hit.

This film got such poor reviews. I'm not surprised given what i've seen in the trailer.

We took the kids to see this last night. It was a cute, feel-good movie for parents with cute comedy for the kids. I am so thankful my daughter won't be going to college for 12 years! Donny Osmond's part in the movie is funny!

While Im not overly thrilled about this movie, my kids are. And really, thats all I care about. To me, yes it looks like it might be kinda lame-Im willing to bet my daughters will absolutely love it.
