Toonzone.net has the story,
Walt Disney and Japan's Madhouse will team to produce a version of Lilo and Stitch for the Japanese market, Reuters reports. Disney is also planning a partnership with Toei Animation to produce a CG-animated robot adventure cartoon.
The partnerships are part of a recently announced project to form creative teams that will produce local content around Asia. Disney already produces localized versions of some of its programming in the UK, Australia, and Italy.
