They were filming last week at the Fred C. Nelles Boys Correctional School in Whiitier, a very popular location venue.

Michelle Rodriguez has signed on to reprise her role of Letty in Universal Pictures' The Fast and the Furious 4.. Also returning for the fourth film are first installment cast members Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster.

In the anticipated film, Brian (Walker) and Dominic (Diesel) team up to help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga. Brian – and ultimately Dominic – wins a place on the criminal's team, where he and his flashy Nissan plan to catch the man red-handed.

Rodriguez's credits include Girlfight, Resident Evil, ABC's "Lost," and James Cameron's upcoming Avatar.

Why do they keep making these movies? Who watches this crap?
There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.

I watch it just for the cars. My g/f hates it, but whatever. I had to buy her a six pack of beer to watch Fast and the Furious 3 with me.

Not sure what kind of neighborhood you live in but here is theirs*:

'The Fast and the Furious' - $207+ million

    '2 Fast 2 Furious' - $236+ million

'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift' - $158+ million

Figure in home entertainment releases, games, merchandising, etc. - $100+

    Seems pretty far from ghetto.

What a nice boyfriend you are! Luckily all my boyfriend had to do was say "Do you want to watch Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift with me?" And I said yes.

    I do

I liked the first one and the third one. And I'm a little excited that Paul Walker will be in the 4th one.
