During the March 19th performance of the new Pixar Play Parade, one of the Pendulums from the "a bug's life" unit (float) broke off. No one was seriously injured due to the incident, but some debris did go into the audience.
Luckily, the performer on the swing heard a loud crack and got off the swing before it broke off.
All the floats in the Parade now have to be re-inspected to make sure they are safe.
Tonight's performance (March 21st) has already been cancelled, and there is the possibility of additional cancellations.
