Raiders
Last Crusade
Temple of Doom

Raiders of the Lost Ark --> this one set the tone
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade --> this one successfully balanced the tone of Raiders with adding more comedy
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull --> this one played between the tone of The Last Crusade and the wild set pieces of Temple of Doom
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom --> enjoyable, but this was the most cartoony of them all

1. Raiders - Best of the four
2. Temple of Doom - I loved this one not sure why
3. Crystal Skull - loved the Speacial Effects
4. Last Crusade because false advertising (did like it)

False advertising?! Do explain, as I was only one when Last Crusade was released.
You've never seen Raiders?! Get on that, like, now. Seriously, stop surfing, go rent Raiders and watch it.
Anyways, I just saw Crystal Skull last night so:
1. Raiders of the Lost Ark- of course.
2. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade- Great mix of action and humor, and Sean Connery is great. Terrible handling of the love interest, and the movie is just a tad too long.
3. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull- Whew! What a long title. Anyways, it had Last Crusade's jokey tone with a ton of comedy, but it also went super ridiculous like Temple of Doom. Still mixed, but it's a hell of a lot better than...
4. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom- who thought wacky and annoying Kate Capshaw would be a good idea? Oh....right...
