Disney is just Distributing it...nothing more, nothing less. I doubt they would even be able to make merchandice for it even if they wanted to. It's only being released in 2000 theaters and won't really matter for Disney that much. Also, reviews don't mean that much. Sharktale got a very low 35% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, yet still made $363 million worldwide. Treasure Planet got a much higher 72% fresh rating, but only made less than a third of that.

I would have maybe been more excited about it, had I actually heard more about it. A week ago I was under the impression that it was going to be released like 2 months from now, now suddenly BANG here it is.
Disney needs to work on its publicity/marketing skills if you ask me. (same thing with Sky High)
