Hi,In the mids of this week. I was just having some random fun in learning about the 1939 film, the Wizard of OZ and I thought would share a little bit about it with MiceChat.
Just in the mids of this week. I was looking for fun in learning about Wizard of OZ.
First I took the time to view that myth that they talked about. That one about a Hanging Munchkin Scene in Wizard of Oz like this one here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r89z_-1by6U If you really watch the movie you clearly see that it's a Crane (a bird). But it's interesting to see how that they seem to darken that image to make it look like something is wrong.
Then I got into more Wizard of OZ stuff like this video about bloopers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toUD_vTM_a8
Then I got into Margaret Hamilton's website (Wicked Witch of the West) . http://www.MargaretHamilton.com (that has a couple videos about her, I might add)
and last, listening to "Hail, Hail The Witch is Dead". The reprise of Ding-Dong! The Witch is Dead that got cut out in the movie . "Hail, Hail The Witch is Dead" was going to be a song for the death of Wicked Witch of the West, in case you didn't know. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWOgHJDP42M
