New to the Disney Movie Club: So Dear To My Heart

A handful of classic titles were added to the list of "exclusive" films available to DMC members:

    So Dear To My Heart
    The Monkey's Uncle
    Moon Pilot
    Superdad
The Boy Who Flew with Condors
    and
    The Legend of Lobo

These join the list of other exclusives that includes Zorro, Polly, Stub and more.

I think so. As long as you keep up with the repy cards (you get one every few weeks... I always turn down the selected title.) If you don't reply you are mailed an charged for the film. You can get refunded, but it's a pain in the neck.

Overall you pay a reasonably good price for rare Disney DVDs you can't get elsewhere.

I am a VIP (meaning I have completed my "three more titles at club prices" deal) so this month they had a "buy one at full price, all additional title at 60% off deal" for VIPs.

I bought Superdad, So Dear to my Heart, Disneyland Presents: Lost Little Dog and Moon Pilot.

The cost with shipping for the 4 DVDs was $53.

And... I can't buy em in stores.

I wouldn't recommend the club if you were only interested in the latest Pixar film that you could get at Wal-Mart, but if you would enjoy something like Superdad this is the ONLY place you can get it.

No I have not seen the film, but that's why I'm not going too.

Also The Treasure of Matecumbe and Shipwrecked are coming to STORES now, instead of just being in the DMC. August 28th is the date.
I like The Happiest Millionaire. What's wrong with that?

Wow! The power of Maltin is amazing! I wonder if his review of Superbad was "superdad!"

I didn't know that about Treasure and Shipwrecked, but many of the club offerings later show up on DVD. Benji the Hunted and Wild Hearts Cant be Broken for example.

But, usually they are in the club for a long time before they appear elsewhere. And club prices are reasonable.

Where else can you get Yellowstone Cubs and Duck Tales: the Movie?
