EPISODES 46 & 47: The Story of Rat, parts 1 & 2

Part 1 spans Horse_Bunny's and my entire relationship -- from a fateful meeting in a familiar SoCal kingdom to the early stages of pregnancy. Yes, there's a lot of dating, traveling, adventuring and a wedding in between.

Part 2 takes us through the last few months as my wife's belly ballooned. Join in the excitement of an unexpectedly early labor, a long day and night at the hospital, and the arrivial of our sweet little baby. **NOTE -- while the majority of this video is suitable for all ages, the last portion does include a live birth. Viewer discretion is advised.**

Not bad for a pair of podcasts that also have a lot of Disneyland photos, an Elizabethan wedding ceremony, an overview of all of the podcasts we've ever made, a visit to the depths of evil in Target, slapstick comedy, partial nudity, hospital drama and even public urination.

Well, that last part can't be helped. Rat is a little baby, and doesn't know such things shouldn't be done on camera.

Hi Disneyphenom and Horse Bunny, thanks for telling us The Story of Rat. This two-parter is a beautiful story. I think I posted my thoughts on Part 1 in another thread, so I'll focus my observations here on Part 2.

- I like your new title sequence.
- The first montage was a nice introduction. I especially liked the music.
- The dramatization of leaving for the hospital: HILARIOUS. Great concept and executed perfectly. Genius!
- Yay for Miranda.
- I liked the ER-esque feeling of the hospital check in.
- I got a serious lump in my throat when Rat appeared. He is so adorable!
- The Happy Birthday sequence was an absolutely perfect way to cap the podcast. Another fantastic music choice for the 'cast.
- And one last thing... OMG.

Like I wrote in my observations about Part 1, you guys have become really wonderful story tellers. It's a big reason why I enjoy your podcasts so much. Thanks again for posting this and I'm looking forward to a new season of podcasts with Rat!
