 | Best Disney parks podcast(s)? Hi all, I've seen a few disney-related podcasts out there, and I'm wondering if you can offer some suggestions for your favorites. I'm most interested in podcasts that focus on the parks (US and worldwide), vacation club, upcoming attractions and insider news. Basically an audio version of in-depth Disney news sites like MiceAge.  I'm not so much interested in stuff about Disney channel, films, High School Musical 8, blah blah blah... Any suggestions? The more good ones to choose from, the better. Thanks!  danielc56 |

| Re: Best Disney parks podcast(s)? Well, there are the Official Disney Resort Podcasts... but they aren't weekly and you hear some of that stuff here first. Haven't found any favorite fan made podcasts yet. The benefit of the Official ones is inside looks at attractions, including some video podcasts.

| Re: Best Disney parks podcast(s)? There are plenty of great Disney podcast out there! My favorites are listed here in order of where there main focus is. Disneyland: "Bringing Disneyland Home Video Podcast" -Brad does a nice job. "The Official Disneyland Resort Podcast" -Not as frequent, but fun to listen to. "The Big D" - Covers WDW and DL, but mostly DL. Walt Disney World: "The Netcot Podcast" - Van is pretty funny, and very entertaining! Nice length(20-30mins). "WDW Today" Short and sweet! Less trivia, more about tips and news. Funny! "The WDW Radio Show" Very well done podcast! LOTS of interesting trivia and interviews. More for the avid Disney fan. "Inside The Magic" Always fun. More news based, and once a month has a radio drama with lots of fun facts! Now some of these podcast cover both resorts but I categorized them by there main focus. Hope you enjoy! Yes, the Disney World podcast are better than Disneyland's.

| Illuminator of Darkness  | Re: Best Disney parks podcast(s)? I'd recommend opening up iTunes, go to the podcasts section and search for Disney or Disneyland or Walt Disney World. They will contain a small description of what they are about. Some that I like that are park/news related are park hopping podcast and the official disneyland resort podcast. I like the Big D and brining disneyland home and window to the magic, but they are not news related. More like showcasing. But still very nice.

We do a podcast that focuses on Disney attractions of the past present and look at little things that you can only get at a Disney theme park: for instance we looked at WDW's Electric Water Pageant. Check us out WEDway Radio So far I haven't found a podcats that has as much insider news as Miceage. I just don't think anyone is as well connected.

| Re: Best Disney parks podcast(s)? ^I agree, the DPN is a great resource and I listen to most that are part of the DPN. One that is not listed on the DPN web page is The Travelears. One of my favorites and I would highly recommend you listen to it as I think it addresses most of what your looking for in a podcast. And of course WEDWay Radio is a great podcast Now if only MiceAge would do a podcast...

| Re: Best Disney parks podcast(s)? I listen to: - The DIS Unplugged Podcast - The absolute BEST Podcast i've found for WDW and they talk about DL at times also (mostly WDW though). I would definatley suggest listening to this one. - Disneyland News Today Podcast - Good updates on DL and DCA - Walt Disney World News Today - Good Updates on WDW Resort - Mousestation - Pretty good podcast on both WDW and DL, Others are more in-depth though. - Laughing Place podcast - funny, but imo are behind on info and don't update as much Last edited by Disney Vet; 06-16-2009 at 05:30 PM. |

| Re: Best Disney parks podcast(s)? Mousetalgia! is also very good. One of the cast members on Mousetalgia!, Jeff Baham, is the guy behind Doombuggies.com, an EXCELLENT site all about the history of the Haunted Mansion. |
