![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK The Constant Gardener- Amazing movie. Though the book is better. Penelope- still cute. I just rented it for the Twilight sneak peek Mamma Mia- I loved it! It was so much fun! Pierce Brosnan can't sing yet still took himself so seriously. It was hilarious. And Molly Weasley singing Take a Chance on Me was pretty great too.

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK Ok. So I'm all caught up in the excitment and hype over The Dark Knight - but we don't get it over here in the UK until this weekend ![]() So in the meantime, I've just watched Batman Begins again. Absolutely cracking! I'm so stoked for the weekend now!

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK The Bank Job It wasn't what I expected at all. It was a pretty good story, and some decent action. It's definitely worth a rental.

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK Two movies tonight Monkey Business - Great movie. First full Marx Brothers I've watched (I've seen bits and pieces on Youtube) and I loved it. Groucho was hilarious. Not a huge fan of Chico though, his accent annoys me and none of his bits were that funny. Two-Lane Blacktop - Mainly got this because the '55 Chevy used here went on to be used in American Graffiti. It wasn't good at all. It was a neat movie to see a bunch of cool old cars and see the racing. But the actual story was boring and confusing. |

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK Just got back from a vacation in California and had to visit the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. Only movie playing? WALL-E. That makes it the third time for me. But I am starting to like it more with each viewing. Missed out on all the big movies since we were away. Need to see Batman and Meryl Streep. (Hopefully not in the same movie.) |

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK Two movies again tonight thanks to Netflix The King of Kong - I really liked it. Had my attention the entire time, I was rooting for the guy the whole time to beat the record. Great documentary. Teeth - Not that great. Interesting, but not that great. The suspense and horror gore was there as was the black comedy, but it just wasn't that great together. There was some funny bits for my sick sense of humor and some bits that made me cringe. But overall it was meh. |

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK Vantage Point I was neither here nor there in anticipation of this movie. But I thought it was REALLY good. I have to admit, after the 3rd time of the retelling of the same 15 minutes of the same story from a different "Vantage Point" I was getting annoyed. But the way they brought it all together at the end made it all worth it. There were also a few unexpected twists I wasn't expecting. I love movies that give you that slight-of-hand when your least expecting it. Then you have to go back and see what subtle things you may have missed. This was one of those movies. Overall I'd give it a 3 out of 4 stars.
