![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK Elf - One of the newer Christmas movies that's a true classic. So well done, so funny. Christmas Vacation - Also a classic. I just love everything about this movie, except the title song. It annoys me.

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK The Christmas Toy - so cute, so adorable and it's finally on dvd!!! One of Jim Hensen's best. But I'm glad I got it from the library instead of buying it because one major part/person is missing from the dvd - KERMIT!! No more Kermit coming down the chimney dressed as Santa and no end song either ![]() I have loved this movie since seeing it many moons ago, so i'm going to get the vhs from the library and turn that into a dvd, that way I get the true copy. |

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK Back-to-back I watched: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian This was my second viewing of Prince Caspian. Saw it on opening day last time. I think it was better the second time around. It's too bad it didn't get much recognition during the summer; Disney having sandwiched it in between Iron Man and Indy. Looking forward to The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Hope they make the other four books into movies as well.

![]() | Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK When was the Last Time You Saw Your Father - with Colin Firth. This is a British production and only played like a week here in the states, so if you don't recognize the title, don't be upset. It was a nice film about a man remembering his father while the father is dying. Told through flashbacks. It was a bit slow and I have seen better rememberance stories (Big Fish), so I really can't recommend this one. But I do like Colin Firth (that's why I rented it) and the ending is sweet, it does pose the question of, "When was the last time you really saw your father?" |
