The new X-Files movie......was like a long episode....with a tad more language than on TV, but other than that, it was good. If you're a fan of the X-Files, then you'll enjoy this flick.

I'm really dying to see this.

As an FYI to all you X-files fans, Costco has all of the seasons for $20 (each) right now. I can remember when they like $60 each.

No, I never have seen Mamma Mia' on stage. Not a huge Abba fan. Their songs are ok, but I don't own any of their albums. You and your mom might have a good time seeing it. I just didn't care for it.

Space Chimps - We are so bored over here that we decided to take a chance on this movie (no Abba pun intended). It actually turned out to be kind of cute. There was more of a plot to this than I thought there would be. There is even a very funny David Bowie joke (my favorite singer). Don't go unless you have kids with you or you might be looked upon as strange.

Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK

Just saw Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D. It's a fun summer movie, and they do a good job of making use of the 3D effect, so the movie won't be as much fun watching at home or on cable in a few months. It's not going to win any Emmys for acting or writing, but it's just a plain fun movie. I enjoyed it more than the 4th Indy movie.

Some of the CGI in the movie could have used some work in making things look more realistic, especially the Pirahna attacking the raft. But Leaving the theater I thought, that would be a rather fun movie to use as a basis for replacing "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience"! (In fact the Pirahna reminded me of the Snake in HISTA.)

Journey to the Center of the Earth is Science Fiction, but hey, Discoveryland in Paris uses Jules Verne as a basis, and Tomorrowland at DL has gradually coverted over to SciFi land anyway ~ Journey to the Center of the Earth would fit into to that!

With some of the effects in the HISTA building, it would be fun to use that and it's special effects to have us all Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Saw Mamma Mia. It was cute up till after the weeding. Then it just got strange. The stage version was much better (having seen it on Tuesday), but the movie does hold its own.

Caught the end of CON AIR on TBS. I haven't seen this since I got it on VHS YEARS ago. I didn't realize how bad it was. It's pretty funny though.

21- I really liked this movie and it was entertaining from start to finish. Kevin Spacey is brilliant as always. I've never played the tables in a casino before, I just watched from the sidelines.

Sydney White- This movie was just ok. It was very predictable cute/love story. I like Amanda Bynes but she needs a career change.

Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK

I just got back from seeing WALL-E. It has got to be not only one of the best Pixar movies, but one of the best movies ever made period. I wanted to see it when it came out, but I didn't get the chance. So we saw it today. It wasn't playing at the nice theater ant more because it stopped playing Friday, so we had to go to the older one, which doesn't get much business(thanks to the new theater). We were the only people seeing WALL-E, considering it has been out for over a month.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - 8.5/10

It was good not great. Lots of great visual effects, but lots of bad jokes. I say it's better than the Mummy Returns but not as good as the first one.

I would agree with you, Indiana James. My husband, our two boys and I saw it yesterday and we all agreed it was a fun summer movie, but that's about it. Brenden Frasier is too young to have a son that age and too old to have a wife that age. But the Yeti were cool!

Pineapple Express - Yes it was ridiculous, but I haven't laughed so hard at a comedy since Anchorman.
