I rode the Pineapple Express as well. It was funny but is it odd that I found it a little predictable? Not the story... but the jokes.

Paris Je T'Aime - A friend lent me this one. It is a series of short (5 minutes) stories involving different types of love, with Paris as the setting. There are quite a few famous actors in this one, along with some famous directors. Not really a short story type of girl, so this wasn't my kind of movie, but it was interesting to watch.

We have had a weird Saturday movie marathon: Chocolat, Venus, Committed, and finally Cold Comfort Farm. I have seen Chocolat a number of times and always enjoy it, the other 3 were eccentric good movies.

Yeah, they aged his son considerable, but you know how Hollywood like to age kids quicker than they really do. Oh, Brendan is actually younger than Maria Bello, who plays his wife.

Just finished Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and I really enjoyed it. I liked all three of the original Indy movies (first time I've watched them), Last Crusade may be my favorite. Temple of Doom was kind of meh.

Just saw Dark Knight in IMAX! Can't wait for it to get into my cheap-seats theater and I'll go see it a third time!

Pineapple Express-Loved it. Yeah the jokes were predictable (a lot of them were in all the trailers) but I thought it was funny anyway.

Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker - This was a movie that came out in 2006 that I wanted to catch with my boys but missed it. It was a fun movie, kind of a James Bond for kids. The movie is from the popular book series. The lead boy was good, but too bad he has not done much lately.

Wall E.... and I really loved it. I teach a couple of film classes. During my film history class, the entire first part of the semester is all silent films, and the students are less than enthused about it, so it didn't surprise me much when I heard people complain about Wall E about the silent first half. I thought it was absolutely brilliant.

Hard Candy, it was excellent. Ellen Page is a fantastic actress. This movie was really interesting, thought provoking and creepy in all the right places.
