Tropic Thunder - I thought it was hilarious! The film reference to all those over-the-top Hollywood war movies was priceless. And Tom Cruise? Unbelievable! This will get his career back on top. My favorite? Robert Downey, Jr. What a year this guy is having! Don't miss this one.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.

I'm glad they squished the last three books into one movie. I thought it worked well, although it was a bit confusing for us readers here and there.

Very nice movie. Long enough to get it all, but not too long. Some good laughs, some tears, and a lot of closure. They did the series some justice and the actresses are fantastic. I think America Ferrara is so beautiful.

In the theater:
Pineapple Express -funny, but a little more violent than I was expecting. James Franco made that movie for me.

At home:
In the Land of Women - Adam Brody is taking care of his grandma. It was really touching. Dealt with cancer and death. Very heavy issues.

No Reservations - watching it right now. So far so good. Liking Aaron Eckhart alot more than I used to.

Tropic Thunder.

This movie is unfreaking believeable!

I can't think of a funnier movie. It was insane, Tom Cruise was amazing and I forgive all his weirdness.

I also saw Step-brothers. That movie was great too. Very funny with smart writing.

I know! It's the funniest movie I've ever seen, and TC's cameo is hilarious. I really hope it's doing well in the Box Office, it deserves it.

Robert Downey Jr. is the major standout though, if you need one reason to see Tropic Thunder, it's him.

It was entertaining. I figured out how it was going to end about 1/2 way through (for the most part) but it was a fun movie. Definitely worth a rental.

Sisterhood 2. Great movie, very sweet and it's shows reality of friends growing apart as their lives change.
I'm glad they made it, it brings good closure.

Re: The "What Movie did you just see" thread STRIKES BACK

Disney's Alice In Wonderland. My 8 year old son wanted to watch it and my 12 year old son has never seen it either. Well, the 8 year old liked it at least. It has been a long time since I have seen it and my husband has never seen it. He thought it was very strange and was wondering if Disney took license with it and made it crazier then the book. I said nope. He then had to google Lewis Carroll and read up on him.

Not one of my favorite Disney films, but yet I like the character of Alice. It will be interesting to see how Tim Burton deals with his Alice.
