Just got back from seeing Wall-E, I thought it was great. Definitely want to see it again once it comes out on DVD. Presto has got to be one of my favorite Pixar shorts too.

I saw The Dark Knight yesterday..... quite possibly the best movie ever made. The score was utterly fantastic (great job again Hans Zimmer). The directing, CGI & sets were great. And of course Heith Ledger gave one utterly fantastic performance. His performance doesn't just deserve an Oscar nomination, but also the Oscar win. The entire cast was great, but the Joker was just outstanding. And yes, if you can see it in IMAX, it is WELL worth the extra $4-$5.

I just saw 'Be Kind, Rewind' I really enjoyed the movie, very funny and touching, but the end was a bit lacking.

Raiders of the Lost Ark (again ) Hey I could watch this one over and over. I did notice a few things this time.

When Indy and Sallah are at the top of the map room, off to the left in the distance you can see the flying wing covered in a big tarp. Was it supposed to be covered up; was it camouflage or was it a tarp the production crew forgot on it?

Another thing I noticed, If you look closely at the submarine as it's heading towards the island, you can see the Indy figure on the conning tower. You can't see much because it is just a green smudge. The photos in the production gallery on the DVD show it better. I wonder if the figure will be better seen on a future Blu-Ray edition?

I'll hopefully catch The Dark Knight at the IMAX in Calgary on Tuseday or Wednesday.

I watched the Dark Knight and Wall-E (for the 3rd time) today, paying separate admissions for both, of course.

Mama Mia - I love movie musicals but this left me pretty much cold. Good performances and all that but I really did not get into it at all. Could it be a 'woman's movie'?

I saw Mamma Mia last night with hubby. We both left a little disappointed. I had much higher hopes for it. Loved the music but the movie just missed the mark.

Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D

I wasn't really expecting much out of it, but it was a REALLY fun movie. I was a bit worried they would rely too much on 3D gimmicks, but aside from a few really fun ones, they didn't.

If you get a chance, go see it on the big screen. It was cool.
