![]() | Sleeping Beauty restoration article I was just catching up on another site I read regularly called The Digital Bits, which is about all things DVD and Blu-ray. This past Monday, they posted a very fascinating interview with Theo Gluck, who was the head of the restoration project on Sleeping Beauty. The interview was conducted by Robert Harris, who is also a fairly big name in the world of film restoration (one of his biggest projects was the much-celebrated restoration of Lawrence of Arabia a few years back). A lot of their discussion is way too technical for the likes of me. But, it's well worth wading through that part to get to some of the other info they share about the film. Check it out: Yellow Layer Failure, Vinegar Syndrome and Miscellaneous Musings by Robert A. Harris Before reading this interview, I was a little dubious about just how "restored" the Blu-ray version is compared to the last DVD release. But, now I'm eager to run out and buy it! -Jon
