Watching the Oscars?

Anyone else watching? What's your opinion thus far?

I loved the opening and enjoyed the first blooper of the night with the curtain.

Re: Watching the Oscars?

So they are opting for flattering the nominees as opposed to showing clips?

This could get long.

Indeed. Well, they're trying something different, so I'm watching with optimism.

Hugh Jackman is good so far, excellent opening.

Re: Watching the Oscars?

Loved Hugh Jackman's opening!

I think the design of the stage is gorgeous.

The whole process of presenting the awards is going to get tedious.

Re: Watching the Oscars?

Figured Wall-E wouldn't win for screenplay, not enough dialogue.

It totally has best Animated Film in the bag though.

Tina Fey looks great. I really like her paired up with Steve Martin!

Jennifer Aniston's dress looks like a shiny piece of wood.
