 | Walt Disney Pictures live-action feature film "John Carter of Mars" auditions  Walt Disney Pictures is in pre-production for the live-action feature film "John Carter of Mars", which is an adaptation of the Edgar Rice Burroughs 11-volume Barsoom book series. "John Carter of Mars" is part one of a film trilogy, and will be based on just the first novel. Filming will begin in January, 2010, and will take place in Utah, Texas (Austin), and the UK. |
